frequently asked questions.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

It’s New Years Eve in Nashville! Think Great Gatsby meets Dolly Parton - we want to fuse the pageantry of the day with classic southern hospitality. “Black tie optional” is how many would describe it, but it’s Cassy & Evan; so please feel free to put your own spin on the night.

IS THERE A WEDDING BLOCK?

There is! Cassy & Evan have a block of hotel rooms at the Hutton Hotel. This hotel is convenient to the wedding venue and a great, local hotel. They highly recommend this as a great place to kick your feet up in Nashville!

WHO IS INCLUDED IN MY PARTY?

Cassy & Evan would love to give everyone a plus one (heck, a plus two!), but capacity restrictions require them to be thoughtful and precise in the guest list. People included in your party will be addressed on your formal invitation.
Be on the look-out for those arriving in your mailbox in September!

IS THE WEDDING CHILD FREE?

Yes; the couple has so many beloved children in their immediate and extended circles, but they kindly request a child-free wedding. Going until midnight is tough enough on adults! Cassy & Evan appreciate the effort required to make accommodations & being away from your kiddo(s) for the evening.

WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION?

There are 4 blocks of free parking across the street from the venue at Richland Park/Nashville Public Library Richland Branch. Please use one of the designated crosswalks to get to the venue as Charlotte Avenue is a busy street!

TRANSPORTATION NOTE!

Please be mindful of driving this night. We will celebrate the New Year together in a popular destination. While the venue is not in the center of town, it is close enough to feel the impact. Please consider taking a ride share (Uber or Lyft) or identifying a designated driver for the night.

WHAT’’S THE COVID PROTOCOL?

Out of respect for our family and friends, we ask that you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Masks will not be required, but we will provide them for those who feel more comfortable wearing. Additionally, we recommend you complete an at-home antigen testing within 24 hours before attending the wedding to ensure you are negative for the virus. If you have any questions, please reach out!
